ecoegg was born after our founder, Dawn, faced her own struggles with eczema. After years of using detergent filled with harsh chemicals and strong fragrances which was often the cause of her eczema flare ups, Dawn decided that enough was enough and thus ecoegg was born. 

Dawn’s mission was clear, create a laundry detergent that is suitable for everyone to use and at the same time a solution for eczema, psoriasis and allergy prone skin that was light on your pockets and gentle on the planet. 

That mission remains the same to this day. We believe that comfort shouldn’t come at a steep price. 

All our fragrances have been specially developed to be low irritant and low allergen. They are dermatologically tested, rated as ‘excellent’ on sensitive skin, making them suitable for both young skin as well as sensitive and allergy prone skin. 

If you suffer with more severe skin conditions, then we recommend using the Fragrance Free range. Our Fragrance Free range has been curated in accordance with Allergy UK standards and has won awards for its ability to provide gentle, yet effective cleaning without causing irritation.
